Ernest Asleton American Legion Post 118

The Wayzata American Legion Post 118 is named after Ernest Aselton, a Wayzata resident who joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was killed in action in France near the end of World War I.

Throughout its history, the Legion has been a community gathering place. Enjoy a casual meal, weekend breakfast, and Friday night dinner specials. Weekly events include Taco & Trivia Tuesdays, Friday Karaoke, Thursday & Saturday Bingo, and Sunday Meat Raffle.

The Legion is active in our community hosting class reunions as well as donations to many organizations: Randy Shaver Community Cancer Fund, HopeKids, Wayzata High School Theater, Toys for Tots, Gillette Children’s Foundation and many more.
