About

Ben Johnson is a Minnesota native with deep roots in the Twin Cities metro area. Since 2006, he has focused on helping families buy, sell, and invest in real estate with a relationship-driven, client-first approach. Known for his market savvy and his calm, intelligent, straight-forward style, Ben has personally closed more than 800 transactions—most through repeat and referral clients, something he views as the greatest measure of trust.

Ben began his career in mortgage finance, his financial command helps his clients navigate complex transactions with confidence. He holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

He is the founder of The Real Estate Nation Team, a high-performing team producing $60–100 million in annual sales while maintaining a boutique level approach to service.

Beyond real estate, Ben is deeply engaged in the community and has served with organizations including IOCP, Outreach Development Corporation, and the Wayzata West Metro Chamber, earning MAR's Good Neighbor award and the Chamber's Person of the Year recognitions for community service. 

Ben lives in Plymouth with his wife, Stephanie and dog Nina. They have two amazing children, Olivia and Benjo. Outside of work he enjoys cooking, boating, fishing, gardening, and grilling year-round.
