Leadership Luncheon: "Meet the Mayors/State of the Cities"

The Wayzata West Metro Chamber is pleased to bring back the popular program 'State of the Cities - Meet the Mayors" Leadership Luncheon. And this year we welcome the new Mayor of Minnetonka!

This year we will dive deeper into what drives these mayors to public service, what makes them tick, what is the best and worst part about their jobs, and what they see for the future of their cities. 

Panelists include: Wayzata Mayor Andrew Mullin, Minnetonka Mayor Rebecca Schack (newly elected in 2025), Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje, and Long Lake Mayor Charlie Miner.

We will also explore the opportunities and challenges facing these west metro communities, talk a bit about city budgets and taxes, discover what priorities these cities are tracking this Legislative Session and how they impact the community, check in on new development and redevelopment proposals, discuss public safety efforts, learn about updates on park and recreation opportunities, and ask them what their highs and lows were for the year. Come join us and meet the mayors as we dig deeper into what makes the west metro a strong and vibrant part of our region!
