The Wayzata West Metro Chamber is excited to bring back the popular EmpowHER Women's Network series. The EmpowHER Women’s Network believes in the immense value that women bring to the Chamber and community.
Its purpose is to foster a supportive and empowering community where women engage in peer-led mentorship by providing a safe space, which allows women to feel heard and receive advice and feedback. The EmpowHER Women’s Network is dedicated to making a difference by cultivating an environment where women thrive, excel, and contribute meaningfully to the growth and success of our community and beyond.
This month's program will take a look at navigating "Joy" during times of duress and how to bring that out in your work and what you project onto others.
The Joy Advantage: Bringing Energy and Meaning to Your Workday
What brings you joy?
The holiday season is often filled with opportunities to create joy for others. But how often do we intentionally create joy for ourselves?
Work and joy aren't always words we think belong in the same sentence. Yet the moments that bring us joy are often the same moments that energize us, renew us, and help us show up as our best selves. They're our Joy Fuel—the experiences, relationships, and activities that replenish us from the inside out.
The joy we're talking about isn't about chasing fleeting moments of happiness or waiting for the perfect day. It's about recognizing the small moments that already bring us energy and meaning, understanding why they matter, and intentionally creating more of them.
Together, we'll give ourselves the gift of time to reflect on our own Joy Moments, uncover our Joy Fuel, and identify practical ways to put Joy in Action so we can experience more energy, purpose, and fulfillment in our workday—and beyond.
Special thanks to our facilitators, members; EmpowHER Chairwoman, Nancy Fisher of the Good Life Revolution and Dianne Shelton, CEO of Passion Breakthrough for leading and facilitating this month's discussion.
We want to thank and recognize our EmpowHER Advisory Group for their joint effort in helping steer this program.
