The City of Wayzata has scheduled two community meetings to discuss the exploration of a Food & Beverage Sales Tax. The City of Wayzata has scheduled two community meetings to discuss the exploration of a Food & Beverage Sales Tax. Both meetings will take place in the Community Room at Wayzata City Hall. Business Session: May 14th from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Resident Session: May 15th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. We want to hear from you! The City is exploring a Food & Beverage Sales Tax as a legislative priority of the Council in the future. Please join us for the above sessions for more information and to share your ideas and feedback. There will be a brief information presentation at the beginning of each session, followed by a discussion and Q & A.
