Historical Trolley Tour of Wayzata

Description

Take a trip back in time during a guided history tour by trolley, led by historians Joanie Holst and Sue Sorrentino and sponsored by the Wayzata Heritage Preservation Board. Tours at 11:15 am, 12:30 pm & 1:45 pm.

The trolley will visit some of Wayzata's most historic sites including the Wayzata Depot, the former Arlington Hotel property, "Piety Hill"/"Schoolhouse Hill" and the "Wise House." We'll leave the trolley for a brief walk around the grounds of the long-gone lakeside Arlington Hotel (1880-1890) and will tour the charming, restored and relocated "Wise House" (built 1904). All proceeds benefit the Lake Minnetonka Historical Society.
