Basics of Electrification Presentation in Plymouth

In partnership with Hennepin County and the Center for Energy and the Environment, the City of Plymouth will host the Basics of Electrification 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3 at the Aspen Room of the Plymouth Community Center, 14800 34th Ave. N. The hour-long presentation will cover the steps necessary for converting home energy systems to electric power to help reduce energy use, including: How to prepare a home for electrification Identifying systems that can be converted to electric power The order of operations to maximize efficiency and energy cost savings Presenters may also provide information for contractors in the area and offer advisors who can help residents through the electrification process. There is no registration required to attend the presentation. The event supports the strategies outlined in Plymouth’s Energy Action Plan.
